(Dimension)Location : The exact location of the Phantom Zone is unknown. Using the Cosmic Key, the villain Prometheus has been able to travel to multiple dimensions from it. It is conceivable that the Phantom Zone is a 'nexus' between the various dimensions.
Description : The Phantom Zone has been called many names: the White Martians knew it as the Still Zone, while the Bgztlians termed it the Buffer Zone. The
Queen Bee called it the Honeycomb, while regular inhabitant
Prometheus has dubbed it the Ghost Zone. But it is the name given to it by Jor-El, the Phantom Zone, that has persisted over the years. Whatever it may be called, the Phantom Zone is a dimension completely removed from time and space, a void between the worlds.
The Phantom Zone has had almost as many uses as it has had names. Kryptonian society used the Phantom Zone as a prison for their criminals. The White Martians used it to hide their invasion fleet;
Lex Luthor's Injustice Gang later used it to stage an attack upon the
JLA's Watchtower. Most ominously, the villain Prometheus has claimed it as a base of operations, placing his Crooked House within its emptiness.
Notable Residents : Prometheus,

General Zod,
Ursa, Non, the
Sons of Vulcan
Points of Interest : - The Crooked House: Prometheus's base of operations. Originally his childhood home, he transported it into the Ghost Zone using the Cosmic Key, and has used it as his base ever since. Originally a normal building, prolonged exposure to the Phantom zone has warped it considerably. The effect the Phantom Zone has had on the Crooked House may extend to any buildings brought within it ("Nothing builds straight here, but that's fine with me. / A crooked house for a crooked man.")
