Powers and Abilities : Noah Kuttler is one of the smartest human beings on the planet, with a knack for mathematics, statistics, and pattern recognition. As a hacker, he has few rivals. As a tactician - evaluating risk, concocting contingency plans - he is similarly talented. He has, in the past, demonstrated skill as a scientist and inventor as well.

History : Noah had a very brief stint, in his younger days, as a costumed career criminal. Though he defeated the JLA in several minor confrontations, Batman ultimately outwitted the Calculator, and he went to prison. His criminal dabblings continued on his release, but he realized that the cost-benefit ratio was skewed. To coin a phrase - crime didn't pay. At least, not as much as he believed it should.

Noah resolved to work to change that cost-benefit ratio to work more in the favor of the criminal underworld. Compiling and analyzing data from a variety of sources, he began to provide consulting services to supervillains, for a fee. And when Deathstroke came along, suggesting a Society of super-villains, Noah was quick to see the benefits of that proposition - becoming one of the Secret Society's inner circle.

Divergences : Though the Watchtower continuity diverges around Identity Crisis #1, Noah's role as an information broker for villains introduced in that series is very much a part of his character in the Watchtower.
