Powers and Abilities : Mogo is a sentient planetform. His awareness is partly dependent on the energy of the Green Lantern Central Power Battery - without his connection to it, he is still sentient but relatively unable to communicate with other lifeforms. He can control the plantforms and weather conditions on his surface. As a member of the Green Lantern Corps, he possesses a Green Lantern power ring. The power ring is capable of nearly any function the user can imagine, provided the user has the focus and willpower to direct the ring to enact it. Most commonly, it used to generate solid light constructs that can be used for offense or defense; to gather, record or retrieve data; or to enable the user to traverse hyperspace at faster than light velocities.

History : Mogo is a longtime member of the Green Lantern Corps - in fact, it has been suggested that the capability of the power rings to locate new wielders is dependent on Mogo's spiritual guidance. He is the only member of the Green Lantern Corps who has not been to Oa - his gravitational field would tear apart the planet. He serves as a place of respite for his fellow Lanterns, sometimes using his powers to help them work through problems and psychological issues.

Divergences : Diverges at Identity Crisis #1, though the events of Green Lantern : Rebirth did take place in WT Continuity.
