Powers and Abilities : Waylon Jones was born with epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, a rare skin disease. The early manifestation of this disease triggered Jones' metagene, resulting in his abilities manifesting in adolescence. Foremost among these abilities is his durability - Killer Croc's scaly skin has toughened over the years, to the point where it is virtually impenetrable, even to high calibre weapons fire. Croc possesses superhuman strength as well, strength great enough to break bank vaults down and throw cars. Croc's senses are heightened as well - his speed, agility, and reflexes are all enhanced. As his name implies, Croc has superior underwater capabilities, fighting just as well if not better in the sea than on land. Finally, Croc has accelerated regenerative powers.

History : Including important DCU plots and Watchtower developments.

Other Sources :

Divergences : Though Croc has historically been depicted in 'dumb brute' mode in Watchtower, his most recent appearances depict Killer Croc in the style of his appearance in the 2009 Joker TPB by Azzarello and Bermejo.
