Powers and Abilities : Green Man is a member of an amphibious species and can breathe underwater. Thanks to experimentation he endured at the hands of the Psions, he has some minor psychic abilities as well. As a member of the Green Lantern Corps, he possesses a Green Lantern power ring. The power ring is capable of nearly any function the user can imagine, provided the user has the focus and willpower to direct the ring to enact it. Most commonly, it used to generate solid light constructs that can be used for offense or defense; to gather, record or retrieve data; or to enable the user to traverse hyperspace at faster than light velocities.

History : The Green Man hails from the planet Uxor. Uxorians have a communal culture and frown on the concept of personal identity - Green Man was an aberration among them in that regard. His deliverance from the oppression of his homeworld came with the arrival of his Green Lantern ring, choosing him as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. The Green Man served as a Green Lantern for many years, but resigned form the Corps to join with the Omega Men, to do work in the Vega Star System.

He was believed killed in the events of the Alien Alliance's Invasion of Earth, but later was shown to be alive and well. It is unclear how he survived his apparent death, but he rejoined the Green Lantern Corps when it was reformed. He's currently a member in good standing of the Corps. Green Man frequently works with the robotic Green Lantern Stel, despite them being assigned to different sectors.
