Powers and Abilities : Gorilla Grodd is a gorilla with an intellect that surpasses that of most humans. He has knowledge of technology well beyond the development of human civilization, and is well-versed in the use of many alien technologies as well. A scientific genius, Grodd has also created many inventions of his own design, usually weapons.

Grodd also possesses formidable psionic powers. He is both a telepath and a telekinetic, able to read most minds as easily as humans read books and levitate objects both animate and inanimate. He can use his psychic powers offensively by projecting psychic blasts and can telekinetically transmute matter as well. Through astral project, Grodd can transfer his consciousness into other bodies. Worst of all, Grodd is capable of enthralling other beings under his mental control. Grodd can control several individuals simultaneously: at one point he enthralled the entire staff of the Iron Heights penitentiary..
