Powers and Abilities : Leonard Snart possesses a thorough knowledge of the science of cryonics. He commonly wields a "freeze pistol" that employs the principles of cryonics to generate ice by slowing molecular motion. He possesses no intrinsic superhuman abilities.

History : Leonard Snart has long been one of the most prominent members of the Flash's Rogues Gallery. He has battled both the second Flash and the current Flash, and is generally regarded to be the de facto leader of the Rogues as a group. He considers Weather Wizard and Mirror Master to be reliable allies and they share a dysfunctional friendship. He's somewhat more distant from the new Captain Boomerang and the Trickster. The death of his sister, the Golden Glider, hardened Snart somewhat - as did his experiences with the demon Neron - but the Flash's foes remain mostly honorable thieves for all that.

Snart has served a stint in the Suicide Squad, and has occasionally retired from criminal activities to pursue legitimate interests, but usually ends up on the wrong side of the law sooner, rather than later, driven by his love of money and women, and his desire to prove himself.

Other Sources :

Divergences : Diverges at Identity Crisis #1. Notably, the Rogues War storyline did not occur in WT continuity, nor did Cold have the chance to participate in the murder of Bart Allen.
