Powers and Abilities : Black Mask has no unique abilities or powers. He is, however, a master criminal strategist who has been able to build an empire even after having every cent he owned stolen by Selina Kyle. He ruled organized crime in Gotham City for many years while posing as a semi-legitimate businessman, and is well skilled in the various techniques and traditions of the business world. He is also a reasonably capable hand-to-hand combatant, able to hold his own against the likes of Batman, at least for a short time. He has a very high tolerance for pain and can fight even while suffering grave injuries. He also is a skilled wielder of handguns, usually carrying two automatic pistols on him at all times.

However, Black Mask's greatest weapons are fear and intimidation. He is infamous for being a sadistic madman who has perfected the art of torture, and most of Gotham's criminals would sooner cut off their hands than cross him.
