Powers and Abilities : Bizarro possesses powers similar to those of Superman, including strength, invulnerability, flight, and superspeed. His auxiliary powers (including his enhanced senses, super-breath, and heat vision) are sometimes depicted to be the same as Superman's, and sometimes depicted to be inverted versions. (Flame breath and freeze vision, for instance.)

Weaknesses : As a twisted copy of a Kryptonian, Green Kryptonite does not affect Bizarro, but the rarer Blue Kryptonite affects him as Green Kryptonite affects Kryptonians.

History : Superman has come face to face with different incarnations of the twisted being known as 'Bizarro'. Attempts to clone Kryptonian DNA often seem to result in a clone that begins to deteriorate physically and mentally, taking on the familiar, Bizarre, attributes. This particular incarnation of Bizarro, however, was created by the Joker when he temporarily possessed Mr. Mxyzptlk's powers in the Emperor Joker storyline. His speech patterns are typically inverted - meaning he says the opposite of what he means. He appears from time to time to 'help' or hinder Superman, making a mess regardless of his intention, either way.

Bizarro, in Watchtower continuity, gets along famously with Ambush Bug, and when last seen, had adopted a strange, furry purple creature as his 'son'. The creature is a genetic experiment or alien of some kind, and seems frustrated by its inability to penetrate Bizarro's invulnerable hide with its teeth.
