Team History: Barbara Gordon, AKA Oracle, formed the Birds of Prey as a small, elite strike force to deal with situations that ordinary superhero teams could not readily handle. The team's roster can vary from mission to mission, from as few as one operative to as many as half a dozen. Black Canary and the Huntress are her two most frequently employed field operatives. The Birds' roster is typically female, though Savant and Creote were at one time associated with the team.
