Powers and Abilities : Bane has incredible strength and is highly intelligent - Ra's Al-Ghul himself has said that Bane's mind is among the greatest he has ever known. He has taught himself various scientific disciplines during his childhood and is an adept linguist, adept in at least six languages (Spanish, English, Urdu, Farsi, and Latin) and possibly more. He has an eidetic memory and superb deductive skills, deciphering Batman's identity as Bruce Wayne within the span of a year.

Frequently Bane uses a drug called Venom, which enhances his already superior physical abilities to superhuman levels. Venom also accelerates the healing process of Bane's body, granting him a limited healing factor of sorts. However, even without Venom Bane is physically superior to Batman. Bane is also a devious tactician and a master warrior, having invented his own form of calisthenics and meditation as well as a unique fighting style all his own.
