Powers and Abilities : Like all natives of Bgztl, Tinya possesses the ability to phase her molecules out of synch with reality. She is unsually adept with her intangibility powers, compared to other natives of Bgztl, and is able to selectively phase specific body parts. She may fly while intangible. Tinya has demonstrated the ability to disrupt electronic devices by passing through them, ever since an encounter with a Bgtzlian touchstone while her powers were malfunctioning. She is also half-Carggite, but due to unusual circumstances, does not have access to her ability to split into three bodies.

History : Tinya Wazzo was born the daughter of Winema Wazzo and an unknown Carggite father. She was separated at birth from her other two bodies, and believed herself to be an ordinary Bgtzlian. Her mother was Bgtzl's ambassador to the United Planets, and Tinya often accompanied her mother to Earth. Tinya spotted a bomb on one of these visits, an observation which lead to Cosmic Boy, Live Wire, Saturn Girl, Triad and her foiling a plot to kill many U.P. diplomats. Tinya was inducted to the newly-formed Legion of Super-Heroes as a result of that adventure.

Tinya's Legion membership lead directly to her first meeting with Jo Nah, AKA Ultra Boy. The two hit it off, quickly becoming romantically involved. Unfortunately, it seemed that their romance was to be short-lived - she apparently died in his arms, at the hands of Daxamite Whtie Triangle supremacists. That was not the end for Tinya - she continued to exist, stuck in an intangible and, to most, invisible form, bound to Ultra Boy. This half-existence persisted until a mission which left half the team stranded in the 20th century. There, Tinya was re-united with one of her other bodies, and the reunion restored her physical form.

Recently, Apparition was trapped, along with the rest of the Legion, in the 21st century. She, along with the majority of the membership, had fallen under the sway of Mordru. A team of heroes including her Legion colleagues Triad, Invisible Kid, and Brainiac Five were able to free Tinya and the other Legionnaires from Mordru's control, and defeat the sorcerer. Subsequently, the Legionnaires were able to return to their own time.

Divergences : The Watchtower incarnation of the Legion is the post-Zero Hour Legion, with a few small modifications. They have been taken from a point before their encounter with the Blight.
