Powers and Abilities : Kyle Abbot is a trained assassin, proficient in hand-to-hand combat and skilled in the usage of several varieties of weapons. Thanks to experiments conducted by
Ra's Al-Ghul, Abbot is no longer able to age. He appears to be only in his thirties, bit is at least sixty years old. He also has the ability to transform into a lupine, werewolf form. Abbot has enough control of his transformation to enter an intermediate lycan form as well, aptly described as a "large, furry brick."
Overmaster recently revealed that Kyle Abbot is the vessel for Fenrir, a legendary Asgardian beast.
Weaknesses : Kyle Abbot may be vulnerable to the traditional Achilles' heels of werewolves, such as silver bullets.
History : One of the oldest members of the League of Assassins, Kyle Abbot made a name for himself among the ranks of the late
Ra's Al-Ghul, earning himself the moniker of 'The Demon's Hound' for his relentless persistence and savagery in battle. After suffering a debilitating injury, Ra's turned Abbot over to an R&D division under his control. Abbot was injected with a serum that stopped his aging process and granted him the ability to transform into a werewolf, making the moniker he went by more fitting than ever.
Abbot played a part in one of Ra's worst schemes, the
Plague incident. Tasked by Ra's with slowing
Batman's progress, Abbot proved a doggedly persistent foe for the Dark Knight, chasing him around the world and slowing his progress wherever possible. However, when the time came to finally confront the Bat, Abbot's werewolf form was no match for Batman's superior fighting skill. As punishment for his failure, Ra's gouged out Abbot's eye.
When Ra's was killed by
Black Adam, Abbot along with the rest of the League transferred his loyalty to his daughter,
Talia Head.
Recently Abbot was tasked by Talia with hunting down and retrieving rogue League operative
David Cain, but before he could complete his mission he was abducted by the
Overmaster.
Other Sources :Divergences : Never joined Intergang. Currently still a member of the League of Assassins working under Talia.
